Bhagavad Gita 2.66

There is no wisdom for the unsteady, and no meditation for the unsteady; without meditation there is no peace; and without peace, how can there be happiness?.

Theme: Anxiety

"There is no wisdom for the unsteady, and no meditation for the unsteady; without meditation there is no peace; and without peace, how can there be happiness?"

Modern explanation

In the middle of the day, return to this: Peace is the soil in which everything good grows. Tend it as your first task, not your last.

Practical application

Pause for sixty seconds. Feel your feet on the floor. Notice that this moment is, in fact, survivable.

Reflection question

If I removed the imagined future, what's actually happening right now?
